Arts & Crafts Pendant Necklace*
Item Description
English Arts & Crafts pendant necklace set with garnets and mother-of-pearl.
A complex design incorporating a trefoil wirework outline with a rope patterned surround to the settings, little whorls of silver and with tiny silver beads as further detail.
Suspended on two short lengths of chain from a garnet set surmount and with a mother-of-pearl teardrop shaped set drop.
The chain work matches throughout and is fitted with a typical Arts & Crafts type fastener.
Very early 1900’s and approximately 8 cms. long including the central suspender and the drop, with the remainder of the necklace chain measuring 42 cms.
