Arts & Crafts Silver, Gold and Fire Opal Ring*
Item Description
English Arts & Crafts ring dating from the early 1900’s.
Crafted in silver and with a double shank which opens at the shoulders to support a little three petalled gold flower (or maybe a clover leaf) on each side.
A very fine fire opal is claw set in the centre, framed by a rope patterned silver border below.
No marks but a couple of knowledgeable acquaintances of ours have both suggested that it could well be from the workshop of Kate Eadie.
The ring is a UK size J.
