Art Nouveau Gold, Amethyst and Pearl Pendant*
Item Description
English Art Nouveau 15 ct. gold pendant set with amethysts and pearls.
An openwork design, tapering down to an elongated lower part which culminates in a teardrop shaped amethyst drop set in gold.
The bale, which is original, continues the fine attention to detail and is set at its top with a tiny seed pearl.
Marked 15 ct. on the back and also showing a further mark, probably that of the maker, which unfortunately we are unable to identify.
Just a fraction below 6 cm long, including the bale and the drop.
The 14 ct. gold necklace chain measures approximately 42 cm in length.
