Enamelled Sunset Scene Brooch*
Item Description
Silver brooch with an enamelled landscape scene of a river, green fields and an orange-red sunset. There are two tall trees in the foreground and a windmill in the distance.
The enamelling is quite beautifully done, the strog sunset colours being not often seen in this medium.
Two little enamelled drops of slightly differing lengths are suspended below.
Marked ‘Solid silver’ on the reverse and with a very Liberty look.
Early 1900’s, the brooch is approximately 3.25 cm wide.
