Earrings from a Marius Hammer Brooch*
A pair of silver and enamel earrings that have been expertly made from a Marius Hammer brooch that was missing one of its parts when we acquired it.
Ornate silver gilt wirework with blue and white enamelling that is so typical of Hammer’s work.
The original brooch would date from around 1900, now with new screw fittings that are marked for silver 925.
Just a touch over 6.5 cm in overall length measured from the little ball at the top of the fitting.
