Earrings attr. to Edith Linnell*
Pair of Arts & Crafts silver earrings, each set with a faceted amethyst, attributed to the English jeweller Edith Linnell.
Shaped as a comma to follow the outine of the lower ear, they are a proper pair in that they mirror one another, one being left and the other right.
Three heart-shaped leaves, crafted in typical Linnell fashion, splay out at the narrower top part, with little silver berries adding further detail.
Still fitted with the original screw type fittings and approximately 2 cm long, they are in excellent condition and date from circa 1925-30.
