Deco Sterling Silver Box
Lightly hammered sterling silver box, simply but stylishly designed with sloping front back and sides, the slant of which which continues into the edges of the gently domed lid.
Lifting the hinged lid reveals the wooden frame to the box, the interior of which is lined with a light blue satin-like material.
Streamlined and with a strong Art Deco look.
The maker in unknown but we believe this box is probably American, dating from around 1930-35.
Marked sterling on the underside and measuring 26 cm long by a little over 18 cm wide. The height is around 7.5 cm.
