Lovely Art Deco silvered bronze figure of a young girl descending a semi-circular flight of three steps. She is naked apart from a close fitting cloche type hat and has beautiful Oriental eyes.
A very stylish and coquettish pose, with the young lady coyly looking down as she leans slightly forwards.
Sculpted by Marcel Bouraine and signed somewhat indistinctly in the marble, with a height of 35 cm.
We understand that the marble steps forming the base have been professionally repaired at some stage, having previously received a crack. This has, however, been done to a very high standard and in no way detracts from display.
Dating from around the late 1920’s.
