Charles Horner Silver Brooch set with Saphiret*
Item Description
Openwork silver brooch from Charles Horner with flowing Art Nouveau lines which sweep and twist their way entrelac fashion around a centrally set circular saphiret cabochon.
The saphiret shows the typical changes of colour, depending on the light and the background, displaying mixed shades of blue and reddish brown.
Marked CH and sterling and dating from around 1910 – 15.
The brooch is a little over 2.5 cm wide.
