Charles Horner Winged Scarab Pendant*
Silver pendant necklace by Charles Horner in the form of a flying scarab, its wings enamelled in vivid shades of sky blue shading to green, with the trailing edges in violet.
The body of the scarab is in a blue green mix and matches the suspender above and the drop below.
Marked on the back with the C.H maker’s marks and also impressed with a Chester hallmark for the year 1912.
The length including the suspender and drop is just a fraction below 7 cm and the insect’s wing span is 4.5 cm.
The necklace chain is 47 cm long.
