Pendant Necklace by Charles Horner
Silver and enamel pendant necklace with an openwork design from the workshops of Charles Horner, hallmarked at Chester for the year 1908.
The shield-shaped outline encloses a central faceted green paste stone, with the tapering enamelled cells to each side also in green mixed with a touch of golden yellow.
Hanging on two short lengths of chain from a matching enamelled suspender and finished at the foot with a similarly enamelled drop.
Length, including the suspender and the drop, is 7.5 cm with the remainder of the necklace chain measuring 46 cm.
