Charles Horner Bat Pendant*
Item Description
One of the most sought after Charles Horner designs, this is the iconic Art Nouveau silver and enamel bat pendant.
The stylised flying mammal is colourfully enamelled in shades of blue, green and blackcurrant, the body and head showing a ‘bobbled’ finish.
Hanging on two short lengths of chain from an enamelled suspender and with an instantly recognisable Horner drop below.
Showing the C.H maker’s mark on the back together with a Chester hallmark for the year 1909.
Measuring just over 6.5 cms. long including the suspender and the drop, with the necklace chain having a length of between 46 and 47 cms.
