Charles Horner Pendant Necklace*
A silver and enamel pendant necklace from Charles Horner in a design we’ve not come across before.
Approximately oval in outline with an open look, the outer ring of silver framing a centre enamelled in shades of blackcurrent, blue and green.
At the top is a pair of curving stylised leaves that are typically Art Nouveau in their style.
The pendant hangs on two short chains from a suspender and below on a single link is a classic pear-shaped Horner drop. Both are enamelled in complementary colours.
Marked C.H on the back and with a Chester hallmark showing the letter ‘K’ for the year 1910.
A touch over 8 cm long, including the suspender and drop, with the remainder of the necklace chain measuring 42 cm.
