Heart Shaped Pendant by Charles Horner
Silver and enamel pendant by Charles Horner with a Chester hallmark for the year 1920.
A bold, heart shaped design with the silver outline framing a vibrantly enamelled area that appears to burst from its centre in shades of blue and golden yellow.
Two little clusters of green leaves on long stems curve up from the base to just overlap the side edges of the heart, and at the foot hangs a typical Horner pear shaped enamelled drop in a matching shade of blue.
Clearly marked C.H on the back and measuring a fraction below 5 cm long including the bale and the drop.
The silver necklace chain is approximately 43 cm in length.
