Charles Horner Gold and Amethyst Ring
Item Description
Ring in 9 ct. gold from Charles Horner who is usually more associated with silver jewellery rather than gold.
These don’t surface very often so we are pleased to have acquired this example from a long term collector who is now downsizing somewhat.
At the head of the ring is a claw set amethyst which is raised above the circular openwork gallery.
The shoulders show a decorative etched design which descends to halfway down the side of the shank.
Impressed with the C.H maker’s mark and hallmarked at Chester, with the slightly indistinct date letter appearing to be a V for the year 1921.
The ring is a UK size just a fraction below L.
