Charles Horner Enamelled Pendant*
Silver and enamel pendant necklace by Charles Horner of Halifax.
The wide heart-shaped outline and contoured shape combined with the speckled green enamel combine to give a look not unlike a pair of stylised toadstools.
A circular, solid green enamel centre divides the two halves and the pendant is completed with a pear-shaped drop in matching enamel.
Suspended on two short lengths of chain from an enamelled suspender which connects to the necklace chain.
Marked on the back with the C.H mark together with a Chester hallmark for the year 1910.
The pendant is 7 cm long including the suspender and drop, with the remainder of the necklace chain measuring 47 cm.
