Charles Horner Enamelled Dragonfly Pendant*
Silver and enamel pendant necklace from Charles Horner in the form of a dragonfly with outspread wings alighting on a decorative beaded silver ring.
The insect’s wings are enamelled in a shade of blue-green and its body in contrasting darker blue. Even the eyes show a detail of maching blue enamel.
The pendant hangs on two short chains from a triangular suspender which matches the wings for colour.
Marked sterling silver on the back and also showing the intertwined CH mark.
With matching chainwork throughout, the pendant measures 4 cm from wingtip to wingtip and 7 cm long from the top of the suspender.
The remainder of the necklace chain is 46 cm long.
