Charles Horner Art Nouveau Pendant*
Item Description
Enamelled silver pendant necklace by Charles Horner, fully hallmarked Chester 1909.
A delicate and pretty Art Nouveau urn-shaped design with three enamelled areas, including its suspender.
There is a tiny burst bubble in the larger area of enamel, dating from the time it was made, which is mentioned purely for accuracy. The clasp has been replaced as the original was a little insecure due to age and use.
The pendant is approximately 5.5 cm long, including the suspender, and the main part of the chain has a length of around 39 cm.
