Charles Horner Art Nouveau Pendant Necklace*
Art Nouveau pendant necklace by Charles Horner in the form of a pair of water lily pads, one overlapping the other, each enamelled in a blend of blue and green.
These are partially overlaid with clusters of little silver leaves which contrast so well with the vibrant colours of the enamel.
The pendant falls on two short lengths of chain from a central suspender enamelled in matching shades , as is the drop below.
Marked on the back with the C.H maker’s mark and a Chester hallmark for the year 1909.
The pendant measures 7 cms in length including the suspender and drop, with the remainder of the necklace chain approximately 47 cms long.
N.B. We also have a similar pendant with a silver bale instead of a suspender – see item no. 15470.
