Catteau Art Deco Vase
Charles Catteau designed Art Deco vase made by Boch Freres in Belgium.
Decorated with Catteau’s famous stylised fruit design in strong colours set against the usual crackle-glazed off white background. The rim of the neck finished in the typical rich blue that is so instantly recognisable.
This is a very nice example and is clearly marked on the underside and numbered D745 with the initials CT for Catteau.
Dating from the 1920’s and a touch over 15 cm high. The condition is very good.
