Brooch attr. to George Hunt
Silver and enamel brooch that, although unmarked, has all the appearances of having been made by George Edward Hunt.
Openwork in style and rectangular in outline with a heart shaped plaque set in the centre, enamelled with a single pink rose surrounded by buds and leaves.
The floral panel is framed by a rope pattern silver wirework border in typical Hunt style.
Little enamelled leaves on each side add further detail together with deep red garnets set at all four corners.
Dating from the early 1920's, and measuring 3 cm wide.
