Bronze Mounted Rindskopf*
Rare and quite lovely bronze mounted Art Nouveau Bohemian glass vase made by Josef Rindskopf.
Elegant baluster shaped green glass with combed inclusions. The colours shimmer with an ‘oilspot’ iridescence as they blend into a violet shade towards the foot. The vase sits in a triple sided bronze mount with an intricate foliate design.
There is an old restoration to one foot of the mount which would benefit from re-soldering but this does not detract at all on display.
Dating from 1903 and with a height of 33 cm.
