Floral Brooch by Bernard Instone
Item Description
Silver and enamel brooch from the workshop of Bernard Instone in the form of a stylised single open flower on a long stem, accompanied by a pair of green leaves.
The radiating six petals are enamelled in a shade of sky blue showing little paler highlights.
With a pink enamelled centre surrounding a tiny yellow glass cabochon which is set directly in the middle of the flower.
All on a curving silver stem, marked BI and silver along one edge.
Circa early 1930’s and with a length of 7 cms.
