Wonderful and ornate Arts & Crafts necklace which can also be separated to wear as a brooch.
The openwork metal is silver gilt with coloured enamel detail, set with blister pearls and paste stones. Richly detailed over its entire length, including the clasp. Even the back has been enamelled, as can be seen in our last photograph.
The brooch has a total length of approximately 6.5 cm and the chain is around 42 cm long.
Marked HB and AA on the clasp. A lovely high quality piece of jewellery made in the late 1800's and in excellent condition.
