Arts & Crafts Star Sapphire Pendant
Very well made English Arts & Crafts silver pendant that is, as is so often the case, unmarked.
An openwork star shape and appropriately set with both light and dark star sapphires.
The pendant is suspended on a couple of links from an oval bale and is a good size at 5 cm in diameter. Length, including the bale, is just a fraction below 7 cm.
The necklace chain, which has a typically Arts & Crafts ‘S’ type fastener, is approximately 47 cm long.
Probably dating from around the 1930’s.
