Arts & Crafts Hammered Silver & Enamel Pendant
Hammered silver pendant with a Birmingham hallmark for 1908, also showing the maker’s mark J.W about whom we’ve been unable to find any information.
With a shaped outline, the upper convex part featuring a rectangular enamel detail in mixed shades of blue, green and yellow.
Three cut-outs in the flatter, lower section give a somewhat medieval flavour which adds a certain individuality.
A fraction below 3.5 cm in length, including the bale, with the necklace chain, which has a barrel type fastener, measuring approximately 44 cm.
