Arts & Crafts Floral & Foliate Pendant*
Item Description
Large and impressive Arts & Crafts pendant crafted in silver, its circular frame overlaid with sprays of individually shaped and contoured green enamelled leaves spreading out on stems from the centre.
Inside these, four little blue flowers surround a centrally set oval turquoise matrix stone.
Completed with a freshwater pearl at the drop and with a real lightness of look despite the size.
Counter-enamelled on the back for stability and just a fraction over 8 cms. long including the drop, with the necklace chain, which has a typical Arts & Crafts toggle type fastener, measuring 52 cms.
Somewhere around the early 1900’s.
