Art Nouveau Stick Pin*
Silver and enamel Art Nouveau stick pin with the profile portrait of a young maiden.
Extremely organic in style, so typically Art Nouveau, with the girl’s face in silver set against a dark enamelled background and framed with a sweeping and sinuous outline.
The outer whiplash design is further decorated with a blue-green enamel infill, the complete image being a picture of elegance.
No maker’s mark but thought to be French in origin and dating from circa 1900, the height of the Art Nouveau era.
Approximately 6 cm in overall length with the decorative element a little under 2 cm wide.
The pin with be supplied in the old original box that it was in when we acquired it.
