Silver and enamel Art Nouveau pendant made by the Birmingham silversmiths Sydney & Co., hallmarked for the year 1908.
The elegant outline encloses four separate enamelled panels, the two down the centre showing a vivid red and yellow angled streak which stands out from the darker background.
At the foot hangs an ornately designed drop with a twin detail of turquoise coloured enamel.
Impressed S&Co maker’s mark alongside the Birmingham hallmark on the back, and measuring approximately 5.5 cm long including the bale and drop.
The silver necklace chain has a length of just a touch below 46 cm.
