Silver Pendant from Murrle Bennett*
Fine Art Nouveau silver pendant made by Murrle Bennett & Co. in the very early 1900’s.
With a shaped upright oval outline and a detail in the silver of of a ring of little flowers separated by random shapes in blue and green enamel, all against a textured background.
In the centre an oval mother-of-pearl plaque is set in gold in typical Murrle Bennett fashion.
The silver necklace chain with its barrel type clasp is enhanced with small baroque pearls at intervals all along its length,
