Art Nouveau Maiden Vide Poche
Art Nouveau figural terracotta vide poche or card tray, probably French and dating from the very early 1900's.
In the form of a head and shoulders bust of a young maiden, her left arm reaching forward and around the tray, the other side of which is framed by the long tresses that fall from the back of her hair.
Finished in muted shades with just a subtle red-brown colour accenting the young woman's hair.
Signed somewhat indistinctly on the right hand side and measuring 33 cm wide and deep by approximately 26 cm high.
