Barnett Henry Joseph Gold Pendant
English Art Nouveau pendant in 9 ct. gold from the workshop of the goldsmith and jeweller Barnett Henry Joseph, then of Frederick Street in Birmingham.
With a swirling, open design that is so typically Art Nouveau and set with a pair of facted peridots at opposing angles in the centre.
The pendant hangs from a central fan shaped bale on two short lengths of chain and is completed with two caged wing pearls suspended below.
Impressed on the back with the B.H.J maker’s mark together with 9 ct.
Just a fraction below 8 cms. long from the top of the bale to the bottom of the lowest pearl drop, with the necklace chain measuring approximately 46 cms.
