Art Nouveau Gold & Turquoise Brooch
Item Description
English Art Nouveau brooch in 9 ct. gold set with an oval turquoise cabochon in its centre.
Openwork in design with a flowing, almost triangular outline and detailed with little gold balls above and below the main stone.
Beneath, on a single link, is a small matching set turquoise drop.
Marked on the back both 9 and .375 to denote 9 ct. and with a couple of letter marks, an ‘M’ and possibly an ‘H’.
Late 1800’s and with a width of 3.5 cm.
