Art Nouveau Gold Ring with Diamonds and Rubies*
Beautifully contoured Art Nouveau ring in 18 ct. gold, set with little diamonds and rubies.
A fluid openwork design with the shank widening at the shoulders as it divides into a pair of long leaves, bound together at their base.
In the centre is an offset angled oval shape detailed with diamonds on one side, rubies on the other and a slightly larger single diamond set in the very centre.
Almost certainly French in origin but any marks there may have been have worn away over the years, the ring dating as it does from the late 1800’s.
U.K. size M.
