English Art Nouveau Gold and Turquoise Pendant
Good looking and very well made pendant crafted in 15 ct. gold dating from the Art Nouveau era, circa 1900.
With a lightness of look, the open design with its combination of sweeping lines, which weave over and under the oval outline, contrasting with the more angular lower part which is set with an upright turquoise matrix stone as its main feature.
A matching smaller circular stone is set above.
The little natural wing pearl drop completes an extremely elegant overall look.
No maker’s mark but thought to be English and marked 15 ct. on the back.
The pendant is 5.5 cms. long, including the bale and the drop, with the 9 ct. gild necklace chain measuring 46.5 cms. in length,
