Art Nouveau Pendant attr. to Murrle Bennett
Classic Art Nouveau gold pendant set with a central turquoise matrix stone and with another in the drop below.
A beautifully sinuous design, the tapering outline narrowing at the top before sweeping downwards and over the surface of the turquoise stone in the form of flowing gold wirework.
Two little seed pearls are also centrally set, one and the top and the other at the foot, immediately above the drop.
No marks but very typical of the work of Murrle Bennett to whom it is attributed.
Length, including the bale and the drop, is 5.5 cm and the 9 ct. gold necklace chain is 50 cm long.
