Art Nouveau Carved Horn Moth Pendant
Unsigned French Art Nouveau carved horn pendant in the form of a stylised night moth.
The well contoured horn is a very pale translucent gold colour and shows a detail of darker spots here and there on certain areas of the moth’s wings.
Attached to dark brown rope-pattern cord which closely matches the colour of the insect’s body.
No clasp, the cord simply fitting over the head.
The moth is 9 cm wide and the cord has a length of approximately 67 cm.
