Art Nouveau 14 ct. Gold Portrait Brooch*
Art Nouveau brooch in the form of a portrait of a young woman set within a fluidly shaped openwork frame topped with three little pearls.
She has a diamond in her hair and another at her throat in the necklace she’s wearing.
The elegant outline comprising draped strappy leaves together with a pair of iris like flowers above is so typically Art Nouveau in design.
Unmarked but possibly French and bought as 14 ct. which we believe it to be.
The brooch is approximately 3 cm in height by 2.5 cm wide.
