Art Deco Silver, Chrysoprase and Marcasite Necklace*
Art Deco necklace with a geometric design, the hexagonal chrysoprase stone surmounted by a crown of open silverwork decorated with marcasites and black onyx.
The vividly coloured stone stands out so well against its background, and the necklace has a strong Art Deco look.
By an unknown maker but continental, the only mark being that for 935 silver.
The pendant, including its bale, is the merest touch over 7 cm long and the chain has a length of 50cm.
