Art Deco Silver and Peking Glass Pendant*
Item Description
Silver pendant necklace dating from the 1920’s, the height of the Art Deco era.
Featuring a rectangular panel of Peking glass, pierced and carved into the form of flowers and leaves of roses.
This is set in a silver mount which is suspended from the necklace chain via an ornately designed pair of linked sections, the largest of which is set with tiny marcasites.
A couple of short black glass rods immediately above adds the final detail to a very Deco design.
The pendant is a fraction below 6 cm long, with the necklace chain measuring a further 40 cm.
