Art Deco Lady and Panthers*
Item Description
Stylish Art Deco group depicting a young woman wearing a full length offset dress, walking a pair of panthers. She’s striding forward controlling the animals on long chains held one in each hand.
With the green patination that was so popular at the time, this has a strong Deco look which is accentuated by the sleek lines of the figures and its streamlined sloping marble and onyx base.
Unsigned but nonetheless a quality piece, dating from circa 1930.
Approximately 55 X 14 cm and with a height of 33 cm. The base is very slightly raised on four rounded feet.
