Art Deco Bird of Paradise Brooch*
Silver and enamel brooch in the form of a perching Bird of Paradise, set with marcasites.
The combination of vivid blue, green and yellow enamelling together with the sparkle of the marcasites and the bird’s red eye and erect crest result in an extremely eye-catching piece.
Very three-dimensional and a good size at approximately 7 X 4 cm.
No marks but almost certainly from the 1930’s.
