Archibald Knox Gold and Turquoise Brooch*
Item Description
Gold brooch designed by Archibald Knox to be sold by Liberty & Co circa 1900-1904.
With a Celtic knot design surrounding an oval turquoise matrix stone and, although unmarked, this is an acknowledged Knox design that is illustrated on page 254 of the book by Stephen A. Martin, where it is shown set with an opal.
The brooch has a width of approximately 2.5 cm.
