A.E. Jones Copper Box with Ruskin Cabochon*
Good looking Arts & Crafts copper box or casket firmly attributed to A.E Jones, with a mottled blue Ruskin ceramic roundel inset into the lid, surrounded by a riveted Celtic design by Anne Stubbs.
Lifting the hinged lid reveals an interior that is fitted with a cedar wood lining showing three slots for dividers which have long disappeared, if indeed they were ever there.
Unmarked as is quite usual and in good condition, commensurate with its age of around 110 plus years.
Measuring approximately 15 X 11 cm overall, with a height of around 5 cm.
