Welcome to Nouveau Deco Arts
Art Nouveau. Art Deco. It’s impossible not to be mesmerised by the incredible artistry that emerged during these two eras. Both movements were responsible for some of the most visually exciting objects and objets d’art that the western world has ever produced. Each in its different way was something of a revolution and injected a breath of fresh air into the decorative arts movement that remains influential to this day. The artists, sculptors and designers responsible for the wonderful items from these times must have felt as if they had been released from the chains of tradition and artistic formality that had restricted originality over the previous few hundred years. The sinuous lines and references to nature and eroticism that typify Art Nouveau, and the sheer sharpness and glamour of Art Deco both scream out to be admired.
We are people that are passionate about Art Nouveau and Art Deco and are an online source of original, genuine and desirable artefacts dating from both these eras. No-one needs to be a millionaire to be able to own and enjoy wonderful and original items from these times. Enjoy browsing, feel free to enquire and let us know if you wish to buy. We will be pleased to hear from you.
