Pallme-König Lidded Pot
Small circular glass jar or pot with a brass and copper fitted and hinged lid.
The glass is unmarked but we know it to be from the Bohemian manufacturer Pallme-König and it dates from around 1900 or perhaps a little earlier.
Irridescent green and purple glass with a random pattern of threads wich is so typical of this company’s style.
The square shaped opening is fitted with a hinged lid which opens from corner to corner. Marked and numbered on the inside of the lid with the German registration mark D.R.G.M and various other marks.
The diameter of the jar is approximately 10.5 cm and the height is around 6 cm.
