Le Verrier Russe*
Item Description
Very impressive Art Deco group of a boy and panther by Max Le Verrier titled ‘Russe’.
Made in a dark greeny-bronze patinated spelter, and set on a stepped and shaped stone base, the young boy is pointing the way ahead while the alert looking panther keenly follows his gaze.
This is a great looking sculpture with beautiful flowing lines. It is in lovely condition with just one or two very slight marks which do not detract in any way from the overall impact on display.
Signed Le Verrier at the back of the base and measuring around 62 cm long, 15 wide and 35 cm high.
