Arts & Crafts Necklace with Opals, Moonstones and Sapphires
Silver Arts & Crafts necklace set with an arrangement of opals, moonstones and sapphires.
An elegant design with typical Arts & Crafts chainwork connecting two central palques, each set with a moonstone cabochon.
Four further moonstones together with three sapphires are set at intervals along the chains and opals decorate the corners of the upper plaque.
The necklace is completed with a little oval opal drop.
Circa 1900, English in origin but by an unknown maker and with a total length when opened out of approximately 38 cm. The length from the central sapphire to the opal drop is around 9 cm.
