Stylish pair of tall, twin handled coupes embellished with lapis cabochons.
With London hallmarks for 1907 and very much in the Art Nouveau style of the period, these were made by the highly esteemed company Mappin & Webb who have held Royal Warrants since 1897.
Standing approximately 20 cm or a fraction under eight inches tall, they extend upwards from a rounded base on narrow stems before flaring out into bowls which have reflexed rims and a detail of four cutaways.
The sides of the stem and the two handles have a typically Art Nouveau look with their elegantly curved and whiplash design features.
Lightly hammered around both the base and the bowl, each one sports a pair of oval lapis cabochons set into the base at front and back.
The total weight is 718.5 gms or 25.34 ozs.
